Hello! My name is Alyssa. I am from the small town of Windsor, California where I have spent most of my 21 years of life. I love coffee, traveling, and good time spent with friends. I crave spontaneous trips and adventures. My happy place involves warm weather, sun, and the ocean. My life has revolved a lot around photography (check out my blog). Music has had a big impact on who I am and I would love to work with bands/artists in the future. I tend to find beauty and awe in small things. One of my favorite moments is looking out over a huge ocean...especially at sunset (God is so real in nature). I love Jesus and the Bible with all my heart. All I want to do in life is know God and make Him known to others. The biggest lesson I have learned is that I am first and foremost a daughter of the King (but that's a whole other story!). I started this blog for family back home and friends around the world to know what I'm doing and hear about stories I wish to share with all of them. I spent most of 2011and 2012 involved with the missions organization Youth With a Mission on the Kona, Hawaii base where I was a student then on staff for the Awaken Discipleship Training school. Through Awaken, I am now helping to launch a community plant for ministry in Barcelona, Spain this summer. This blog is to keep everyone updated with what's going on, stories of what the Lord is doing, and how we can partner together to reach the Great Commission. Thanks for everyone's support!
