The
6-month Awaken Discipleship Training School (DTS) is designed to awaken
hearts to the first commandment of loving God, overflowing into the
second commandment of loving each other and the lost. It’s a movement of
people who are consumed with a passion to intimately know Jesus and
translating His life into every setting they find themselves in. We are a
community and family whose hearts burn for the nations to be awakened
to the true reality of Jesus Christ through the preaching and living of
the simple Gospel. We believe in championing and empowering each other
to go deeper, wider, and further and dream the dreams of God. We long to
give up everything, take up our crosses fully, and wake up anew daily
to the lifelong journey of feeling, seeing, experiencing, and tasting
the Kingdom.
Our heart’s desire is to fully know our Father and from our identity as
sons and daughters go into all the nations and call home our fellow
brothers and sisters. We believe in learning to hear and obey God’s
voice through His Word and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We
passionately understand the world we live in and the importance of
worship, intercessory prayer, and spiritual warfare.
Lecture Phase (3 months in Kona)
During the lecture phase, we are committed to discovering our callings and gifts as we are uncovering the One who is calling us. All of these values come through different avenues:
Outreach Phase (11-12 weeks)
During the outreach phase, we take the Gospel to the poor and hopeless, the stagnant and compromised, and the broken and hurting. The Awaken DTS is committed to partnering with God in expanding his Kingdom to the ends of the earth and raise up a generation of radical, fiery-eyed disciples. Outreach will take place in locations around the world. It will include:
We reach out to show Jesus in creative and apostolic ways while
unleashing the transforming love of the cross. Outreach is intended to
take the God that we begin to know and uncover during the lecture phase
and make Him known across the globe. We believe that when Jesus said we
will do greater things than Him, he meant it!
His love will be written on the tablets of our hearts, the glory of the Kingdom burning in our spirits, and the urgency of the Good News on our lips. We will live from a place of victory, expecting Him to move.
Sound the awakening.
The world awaits.
