What am I doing?

So just to fill you all in... you are probably wondering what a "Discipleship Training School" is. Well, it's basically what it sounds like. Spending 6 months with Jesus and learning more about him. Being trained to do what God called us to do - go into all the nations and proclaim his name. Share the love he freely gives! Anyways, here's what a basic weekday schedule looks like:

Breakfast
8-9am: Changes everyday so it's either a time of worship with the whole campus, worship with our school, a Bible study taught by a few leaders, or a time of prayer and intersession
9am-12pm: Lectures! But awesome lectures. Every week there is a different speaker and different topic. Last week was all the staff giving their testimonies and words for the class. INCREDIBLE! This week we have Ivan Roman speaking on "hearing the voice of God". Without a doubt it will be amazing.
12pm-1pm: Lunch, mmmmm.
1pm-3pm: Worshiiiiip and group prayer in the Prayer Room on campus. This is only 2 days a week. Good time to reflect on the lectures.
3:30-5:30pm: So every student has a "work duty" that they can choose to help out the campus a few hours a week. I chose to do dinner prep in the kitchen. My job is washing dishes in the back with another guy, Ryan (who is also on Team Amsterdam). So we get to blast music and have fun with all the other students working with us (there are 2 other Team Amsterdam members with us!). It's great and the time goes by fast.
Dinner

Then the rest of the day is left up to free time and sleeping. It's awesome, I love it. Weekends are free to do whatever and it usually involves hitch hiking somewhere. Time will start filling up with small groups, one-on-ones with staff, and outreach stuff! So excited for the next few months!
